Booking an ENT Appointment

To arrange for a consultation with Dr. Hall, please call us on (09) 281 2963 or book an ENT appointment online. If you need an urgent ENT appointment, please let us know and we will try to accommodate your request.

Payment Options

Consultation payments are to be made at the time of the appointment and can be made via card (Credit/Debit cards accepted) or cash. Please be advised we only accept exact change for cash payments. If you are self-funding your procedure, payment is required prior to the treatment. 

If you have an approved ACC claim, a $30 administration fee is required on the day. 

Consultations

Our clinic is affiliated with Southern Cross Health Insurance. Once you have provided your membership number, prior approval can be obtained and payment will be made directly to us. Depending on your policy, sometimes a co-payment may be required.   

If you have health insurance with another provider, you will need to pay for the consultation on the day and claim the payment back from your provider later. 

Procedures

If you are intending to make a claim with your insurance provider, we advise contacting our clinic and your provider for more information. Depending on the surgical procedure, some are affiliated with the hospital meaning that you will not need prior approval. However, there are non-affiliated procedures which will need a pre-approved claim from your provider.

What to expect at your consultation

Patient parking is located on the left of Gillies Hospital when you drive in. 

During your initial consult, Dr. Hall will have a conversation with you about your current condition and refer to any relevant letters from your GP or other specialists. Based on this information, he is usually able to provide a diagnosis and advise next steps. If further tests are required to provide a more accurate diagnosis, Dr. Hall will inform you what is needed. Rest assured, patient care is of the utmost importance to us, and he will ensure that you are comfortable with the options and treatment plan that is presented to you. Your initial consultation will last 25 minutes.

When you come to your consultation, please bring the following

•   Your referral letter from your GP or other specialist 

•   Reports of scans (such as CT’s, MRI’s or X-ray’s) 

•   Medication list 

•   Insurance details.

Any other additional or relevant letters from specialists that would be of use to Dr. Hall including:

•   Sleep study reports 

•   Recent pathology results 

•   Audiogram results
